Analyst / Associate ▶
Location: Mumbai
Reporting to: Head of Family Office / Group Director / Group CFO
Role
We are looking for a strong, self-motivated investment professional Analyst / Associate in our Mumbai office, who will play a key role in analyzing at various stages, investment opportunities coming to Family Office. This includes product-specific diligence, market analysis, conducting primary and secondary research, development of investment themes, modeling, due diligence, structuring, documentation, and investment committee presentations if need be. The candidate will be involved in sectoral analysis, market mapping, prospect calls/visits, due diligence, and deal execution.
Key Responsibilities
Play a key role in analyzing deals / term sheets / teasers coming from various wealth advisors, distributors, funds, AMCs etc. This includes analyzing, monitoring investments along with investment team of family office, research, due diligence, ongoing management and reviews of investments.
Work with the family office team to evaluate new investment ideas across sectors.
Engage deeply with the ecosystem to identify potential investment opportunities for evaluation.
Examine business processes and conduct benchmarking study / trend analysis.
Deal Execution once approved by the investment committee.
Ability to conduct sound due-diligence and create the true scenarios for the investment opportunities.
Assessing / valuing the businesses / companies with respect to expected future growth
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Create detailed financial modelling, draft and review term sheets and transaction documents.
Track sector deals and developments and build understanding of sector macro trends.
Develop memos and presentations for Investment Committee.
Work with software developers, on developing ERP/ software for family office software
Support for Portfolio companies of the Family Office
Preparation and analysis of periodical performance of the family office
Qualifications
~ 5 years plus post qualification experience (currently with buy / sell side brokerage firms, Asset Management Companies, Private Equity/ Venture Capital), and a good understanding of the Investing space.
Outstanding analytical/financial skills
Aptitude and interest in financial modelling and valuation techniques
Understanding of deal diligence and execution
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate
Ability to multitask, take ownership and prioritize.
CA and/or MBA preferred.
Manager Accounts ▶
Location: Mumbai
Reporting to: Assistant Vice President Accounts
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and present accurate monthly financial reports, dashboards, and performance reviews.
Provide timely, reliable financial data and analysis for strategic decision-making and planning.
Create financial models and forecasts that support multi-scenario planning and agile business decisions
Compute P&L impact and cash flow analysis for large deals and strategic investments.
Predict financial implications of decisions such as new deals, license renewals, or product investments
Track and report realization rates per customer and return on capital employed (ROCE).
Monitor line of business investments and assess profitability.
Identify and report variances to forecast, budget, and prior year performance.
Strategic Finance & Business Partnership
Provide actionable financial advice and insights.
Work closely with the finance team and business units to define and review metrics, KPIs, and business goals.
Prepare presentations and business cases with thoughtful analysis and clear decision framing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on corporate initiatives and projects affecting the entire organization.
Lead efforts to identify business challenges and proactively recommend data-driven solutions.
Operational Finance & Audit
Independently prepare company financials in compliance with applicable standards.
Manage and lead the audit process with internal and external auditors.
Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reconciliation of accounts.
Requirements
Charted Accountant/MBA degree and more than 2 years of experience in finance or accounting or a related area
General knowledge of accounting / financial / operational principles
Experience developing financial reports and metrics
Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication
